Second Annual Holiday Craft Fair

Handmade wreaths, knitted items, jewelry, wooden cutting boards, dog treats, beeswax candles, handwoven baskets, aprons, reusable fabric gift bags, balsam sachets, quilted items are just a sampling of items for sale at a holiday craft fair on Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Culture Hall at Camphill Ghent, 2542 Route 66 here. The event is free and open to the public.

“We have so many people here who have great talent and create wonderful things,” said Camphill Ghent employee Mary Greene, who is coordinating the second annual craft fair featuring handmade items created by staff, co-workers, residents and friends of the senior living community. “Our first craft fair last year generated a great deal of excitement within our community and we are looking forward to sharing it with the public for the second year,” said Activities Director Onat Sanchez-Schwartz. Tea, coffee and mulled cider will be available for sale.
